How can I register QSAN ID?

Question:

What is QSAN ID?What for?

QSAN ID is the account use to sign in to QSAN services, which can be registered with a valid QSAN XCubeNAS serial number.
QSAN ID can be use to sign in to QSAN services such as QSAN cloud;a QSAN DDNS service grand XCubeNAS to be accessed via internet with have a public dynamic domain name. With QSAN ID user sign in to XCubeNAS anywhere via QSAN Cloud

How to register QSAN ID?

QSAN ID can be registered via links on XCubeNAS, each serial number can only be registered once, please see instruction for more detial on steps for QSAN ID registeration.

Instruction

QSAN ID can be registered by clicking the "Login or register a QSAN ID" link which can be found from the following locations;

1. Tutorial session

 

After finish initial installation and being able to access desktop of XCubeNAS,a tutorial session will automatically appear to guide user with quick system and share configuration.
Tutorial can also be access by;
Step1. Click the “QSAN Logo” on the top-left corner on the desktop.
Step2. Click "Tutorial".
Step3. Click "Start".
Step4. Go to "Create a QSAN ID" page.
Step5. Enter register information to register QSAN ID.


2. About NAS page

Step1. Click "QSAN Logo"  on the top-left corner of  desktop.
Step2. Click "About NAS". (About NAS window will appear)
Step3. Click "Login or register a QSAN ID" hyperlink ( QSAN Cloud window will appear).
Step4. Click "Register" hyperlink to enter registeration page.

3.   DDNS configuration page

Step1. Click "Control Panel"  button.
Step2. Click "Connection" under "System" section.
Step3. Check "Enable DDNS service" box in DDNS page to activate "DDNS provider" options.
Step4. Select "QSAN Cloud" from DDNS provider dropdown menu.
Step5. Click "Login or register a QSAN ID" hyperlink ( QSAN Cloud window will appear).
Step6. Click "Register" hyperlink to enter registeration page.

Registeration

A pop up window will appear after clicking the "Login or register a QSAN ID" hyperlink,
Click “Register” to enter registeration page.

Step1. Enter an valid email address for "QSAN ID", this field must be an email address.
(For example: user@example.com)

Step2. Enter password under "Password".
(Password must be between 6 to 16 characters)

Step3. Enter password again under "Verify password".

Step4. Enter any name under "Nickanme".
(Nickname must be between 1 to 32 characters,Valid characters: a-z A-Z 0-9,
 "." can’t be placed either in the beginning nor the end)

Step5. Click “Create” to submit registeration.

Activation and Login

Once registeration is complete and successful, a conformation window will appear with the QSAN ID and password user has submitted

Step1. An email with activation will be sent to the user’s email account, click the activation link to activate QSAN ID account.

Step2. An activation confirm window will appear once the QSAN ID account has been successfully activated;

Login QSAN ID

Step1. Click “OK” to continue to login page
 

Step2. Enter the QSAN ID.
Step3. Enter the Password

Step4. Click “Login” to login.
Message of “You have logged in QSAN Cloud” will appear when logged in.
